The Ponytail

It's interesting how a simple hairstyle we grow up wearing to keep the hair off the face while running around like a mad kid can be the most beautiful, elegant and mature hairstyle later on in life. I remember back when bobbles were THE thing to be wearing. I had them in turquoise and hot pink. Before that there were srunchies, ribbons and the little twistie ties. I wish I still had the bright pink contraption mum used to turn my ponytail into this mad twisted hairstyle... although it was quite painful at times.
