A pair of great sunglasses are an essential item for summer. Not only do they protect the eyes from the sun and prevent squint wrinkles as you get older (nobody wants those...), but they're a quick fix to stay looking stylish no matter what state you're in. Three classic shapes that will never go out of style are the Aviator, Wayfarer and Clubmaster by Ray Ban. This iconic brand has covered these shapes in the most effortless way and to this day are favourites among celebs and models.
As seen constantly on Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Aviators are her shade of choice. Gold rims with dark lenses, this style radiates class and glamour. You instantly feel like you're jetting off on an island getaway when you throw a pair of these on. Rosie generally wears hers with a feminine yet minimal style of clothing. Camis, tees, jeans or summer dresses.
Another favourite amongst off-duty models and street stylers are the Ray Ban Wayfarers. This style of shade radiates effortless cool and street chic. You'll see Wayfarers regularly on Swedish fashion blogger Elin Kling and model Frida Gustavsson. They're a perfect style to wear with an all-black outfit, but as with all black shades will work with anything you've got.
Lastly, a pair of Clubmasters are all you need to bring a hint of muso to your style. The indie shade of choice, these sunglasses do the talking for you and are a favourite of VS Angel Candice Swanepoel. On the celeb side you'll find Clubmasters on everyone from Kirsten Dunst, to the Olsen Twins and Robert Pattinson.
If I were to pick one of these styles as a favourite I'd have to go with the Aviators. I'm beyond obsessed with Rosie's style and I just think the sunglasses add so much glam to every outfit she wears. What's your favourite?
