As soon as saw this piece I knew I had to bring it into my life.
I always use to have a lucky charm... some particular thing I'd have with me at all times to remind myself that no matter what, everything was going to be okay. Kind of like a token of peace, an every day comfort, and something that only I knew I had.
I don't often wear jewellery, but if I do it's generally something that has meaning to me. I've always been in love with the night sky. The day I got glasses for the first time - I think I was in year 7 - I went home that night, stepped out of the car and looked up at the sky and I could see the stars for the very first time. For once it wasn't a big blurry mess. Mum laughed because I was just standing there staring at the sky in awe for so long.
This ring reminds me of that moment. It reminds me of the appreciation I have for the little things in life like the stars in the sky, my sight, and that there's so much more to life than the little things people get their minds caught up in every day.
I love it because it's unique - no two pieces from this collection are the same. The stones change colour in the light. It also brings me hope for the future.
