My first ever Lancome buy was a perfume called "So...Miracle" at an airport I can't quite remember during a trip to Paris in 2005. I loved that smell and I'm not sure if that perfume still exists but a while ago I found another one from the same range that took me right back.

Lancome then became one of my favourite makeup brands when I swept that wonderful Hypnose Star mascara onto my lashes for the first time. I have two of their lipsticks, some creams and another perfume and I've never really been disappointed by any.

The sample bag above came to me from a site called Activeskin which I've only just discovered recently. Thank goodness for a trusted online stockist of Lancome! They carry so many of the products as well which is going to be a bit dangerous for me :)

The perfume is called Tresor (meaning treasure) and has notes of Apricot Blossom, Rose and Lilac. It smells like a mix of fruit and vanilla essence. I also received a little tub of the Renergie Multi-Lift anti wrinkle cream, a tube of Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector, the Dreamtone Dark Spot Corrector and a little sample of Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara which I can't wait to try out.

  1. I was recently in David Jones and have fallen in love with THE Balm too, their packaging is so cute - reminds me of Benefit Cosmetics however gone very 1950's vintage. Definitely think I need to go pick up the nude palette, I also really loved their cream blushes.
