Perfecting the base with Arbonne
So I have a couple of new Arbonne products in my life to show you! I've been crazy about their makeup primer for a while now so a few more additions were in order.
First up is the Perfecting Liquid Foundation with SPF 15 and I have it in the shade Alabaster, which I believe is the lightest shade there is. At first when I applying it I thought okay... this is too light for me. But once applied, powdered over the top and bronzed around the edges, the colour matched perfectly into my neck and it gave my face this amazing radiance. It evens out my complexion perfectly and lasts quite well.
Positives: The coverage, the colour and the SPF 15.
Negatives: You can see it sitting on the skin in some areas, which you don't really notice unless you're up close.
Secondly another foundation product in a powder form. The "Got You Covered" Mineral Powder Foundation in the shade Radiant, also with SPF 15, is the perfect product for creating that "no-makeup" makeup look. It evens out your skin tone while still being able to see the natural features of your skin underneath. Great for the days when you don't feel like covering your face in foundation, this powder is buildable from a light to a medium coverage. And differing from the liquid foundation, you can't see this product on your skin as it blends nicely in.
Positives: The natural finish while still hiding redness, evening out the complexion.
Negatives: The amount of product needed to be used for those who prefer fuller coverage.
And lastly, this absolutely beautiful pink Eyeshadow in the shade Petal. I'm in love. I've been wearing it across the eyelid with a light brown blended into the crease and a dark brown lining the upper lash line and it just looks beautiful.
Positives: Long-wearing and pretty shade.
Negatives: Quite powdery consistency and not highly pigmented.
Overall I love the Perfecting Liquid Foundation the most and I can see me using it right up as it's now become my daily base.
