Spring Fashion Trends
To me, Spring means a fresh start. To rearrange, reorder, redesign and rediscover.
I feel a complete wardrobe turnaround is always necessary when it hits this part of the year. No more wrapping yourself in a giant blanket and waiting for the cold to pass. It's the time to get out there and make the most of the fresh, warm weather before it gets too hot to do anything.
Three spring trends that have come to my attention are
Embroidery, Seventies and Lace.
Embroidered items are always so interesting to me. They bring this effortless prettiness to an outfit and just scream the spring/summer season. I love the sheer fabrics they appear in, making them so breezy and floaty... the perfect spring addition.
There's something so warm and inviting about seventies-inspired pieces. The rich golden hues in burnt orange and cream along with brilliant tan accessories. All perfect to pair with something everyone would own - blue denim. I'm dying to add a pair of wooden shoes to my collection, whether block heels or flatforms.
Lace is a fabric I'm always going to love. So delicate and feminine, it's impossible not to feel beautiful when wearing it. Going beyond the fabric, lace-lined lingerie and lace-up shoes are other items on top of my list for spring additions.
All pieces above are available at Frockaholics which has a stunning array of designer tops, bottoms and dresses online. Housing many well known Australian designers such as Bec & Bridge, Talulah, Alice McCall and more, you'll get lost in the mix of apparel and accessories on offer.
