BECCA Cosmetics at Sephora.com.au
In awe of these products that are now in my collection.
As you all would have heard, Sephora.com.au has arrived! Finally we can shop in our PJs at one of the most coveted beauty destinations in the world. Perfect for me as I live nowhere near one of the actual Sephora stores and felt like I was missing out every time I saw products popping up here and there that I just couldn't get my hands on.
One brand that I had heard so much about was BECCA Cosmetics, which is now available at Sephora.com.au. I snapped up a couple of products to see what the hype was about and woah... it sure lived up to it.
Firstly I got the Afterglow Palette, a collection of BECCA's best selling highlighters and blushes all in one. It's seriously the most stunning thing, and I love how much I can do with it. The Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Moonstone" is a beautiful pale highlight for cheeks and inner corners, along with the shades "Rose Gold" and "Topaz" which can not only be used on the cheeks but also make beautiful, (and highly pigmented) copper eye shadows. The Mineral Blush in "Wild Honey" is a brilliant warm, peachy tone and then the blush in "Flowerchild".... my new favourite! It's a gorgeous rosey shade of pink.
Next I got the Highlight/Lowlight Palette Pressed as the contour shade looked perfect for my skin tone and I wanted to try another of BECCA's highlighters as they're so talked about. This product contains the Lowlight Sculpting Perfector Pressed which is such a natural contouring shade, it worked so well on my pale skin. It also has the Shimmering Skin Perfector in "Opal" which I would have to say is my new favourite highlighter! It shows up so wonderfully in the light, wish I could capture it on camera!
And lastly I had to get the Ultimate Coverage Complexion Creme as I had heard that it was really full coverage and was up there (if not better than) other full-coverage foundations that are on the market. I got the shade "Cashmere" and I was wary about whether it would have a mask-like effect but it didn't whatsoever. I LOVE it. As I was applying the cream foundation, any signs of redness just vanished underneath. It was easy to blend out, covered any imperfections and I was left with a slightly dewy and definitely full coverage finish. Safe to say another new favourite!
When a brand lives up to the hype surrounding it, you know you've struck gold. What's next on my BECCA wishlist at Sephora.com.au? The BECCA x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. I'm definitely clicking that "waitlist me" button!
