From the perfect nude to a sultry wine, there's a shade to suit every skin tone, personality and lipstick desire. While trying on the colours I happened to find a new favourite - no. 66o Touch Of Spice. It's a deep nude with a hint of berry tone to it, perfect for any brunettes out there. I also loved how perfectly formulated the red shades were, capturing both reds every girl needs to own. A brilliantly bright orange-red and a beautiful, classic true-red.
The Color Sensational Creamy Mattes were designed to provide a creamy application with a matte finish. You'll find a lot of matte lipsticks are quite difficult to apply - you feel like you're dragging the product across your lips, leaving your lips dry and slightly uncomfortable. Maybelline have squashed the idea of dealing with the "matte lipstick issue" and have produced this range of creamy matte lipsticks that actually stay creamy. The colours are very pigmented and so comfortable to wear.
I find matte lipsticks to be extremely flattering. They never look overdone, even the brightest of colours. They make your lips stand out and compliment many makeup looks without looking over-the-top. The Creamy Mattes range is so wearable and if I were you I'd take note of your favourite shade and get ready to pounce.
