Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette Seductive Beauty

Last year I welcomed Charlotte Tilbury's limited edition 'Instant Look In A Palette' in 'Natural Beauty' into my life and it was one of the most beautiful palettes I've tried. I loved it for travelling, it had everything I needed. Natural eye shades, a bronzer, the best highlighter and two pretty blushes.

It got to the point where more palettes ended up in my makeup collection and I felt like I wasn't using this one as much as I should, for such a wonderful piece. So I decided to give it to my mum, who now loves it too. I've been adding things to her little Charlotte Tilbury collection recently. I've bought her the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder and the Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria. I just love this brand so much. I use products from their The Dreamy Look collection all the time. Everything just feels really special.

As the first 'Instant Look In A Palette' sold out everywhere, it only made sense for Charlotte Tilbury to bring it back, along with a new one which is just as wonderful, called 'Seductive Beauty'.

Whereas the 'Natural Beauty' palette was all about creating a stunning every day makeup look and enhancing your features, the new palette focuses more on the night. The eye shades are a little more dramatic with a slight sheen to them, so you can create a sculpted, smokey, glamorous look for the evening. For dinners, parties or events, pop the palette in your bag and it's easy to touch up your makeup after work.

I do like this palette as much as the last, if not slightly more. It seems the slightest bit more pigmented and all three eyeshadows show up better. There was one eye shade (light pink) in the Natural Beauty palette which didn't do much for me when applied to the eyes. The eye brighten shade in this new palette though is just like a champagne highlighter, much better in my opinion.

A big difference in this palette compared the previous one is the two blush colours. The warm, peachy shades included are flattering on all skin tones. They add that pretty flush to your cheeks in a shade that wears perfectly all year round.

I love the more dramatic eye shades in the palette, the perfect smokey browns. The champagne shade for the lid is exactly what you need to dress up your makeup for the evening. If you already have a simple matte crease colour on throughout the day, a natural bronzer and a little shimmer on the eyes, you can really transform your entire face with this palette.

In terms of the formula, there's not one disappointing product in the palette. The only negative I can come up with is the eye brighten shade is brighter and more reflective than the actual highlighter in the palette, so if I could switch the sizes of those around I would.

It truly is the best palette to take with you everywhere.

  4. Stunning photos as always! I think palettes like this are such a good idea, both for travel and minimal makeup collectors as they have all the options they need in the one palette.
