Charlotte Tilbury | Instant Look In A Palette

Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette Limited Edition

Sharing with you my first ever product by Charlotte Tilbury.

The most simple and effortless way to enhance your natural beauty, the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette has your eyeshadow and cheeks sorted. With three eyeshadows, a bronzer, two blushes and a highlighter, all numbered in order from 1 to 7, it's hard to go wrong with this palette.

The first step in the palette is the Eye Brighten shade. This light pink colour works to colour correct the eyelids and to create an even base for the eyeshadows. It's very sheer so not overly visible when on the skin, although you can see once applied that the eyelid is more even in colour and other eyeshadows are easier to blend over the top.

Next is the Eye Enhance shade, a very sheer pale bronze shimmer. Not too dramatic, it's appropriate for every day wear to add a hint of sheen to the eye. It applies best with a finger rather than a brush, to pick up enough visible pigmentation. I do like to apply several layers of this eye shadow to make it stand out.

The Eye Smoke shade is much more pigmented, one of the best brown tones for the eye. This colour warms up the eye look when you run it through the crease, adding dimension at the same time. It can also be used to smoke out the upper and lower lash lines for more of a dramatic look, or for taking the look from day to night.

The Face Bronze shade is that perfect mix between a contour powder and bronzer so you can achieve a sculpted, bronzed look all from the same product. It blends easily and builds gradually, and works wonders on pale skin. Slightly lighter than the Eye Smoke shade, you could also use the eyeshadow as your contour and the bronzer purely to warm up the cheeks.

There are two blushes in the palette, the Cheek Swish and Cheek Pop. Charlotte Tilbury blushes are known to involve two colours so that the swish shade goes along the cheek and the pop shade on the apples. The Cheek Swish is a light coral, the ultimate colour that works on so many different skin tones. The Cheek Pop is a lot brighter, still light but more of a punchy pink to really make the cheeks stand out. Both colours create a natural, flushed look.

And lastly the Face Highlight shade is the star of the palette, a light shimmery champagne gold that really makes the entire look come together.
